Senior Consultant
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Responsibilities

Provide expert consultation and management for patients with solid and hematological malignancies.

Formulate individualized treatment plans, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and supportive care.

Supervise and perform procedures such as bone marrow aspiration/biopsy, intrathecal chemotherapy administration, and central line care.

Actively participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and coordinate care with surgical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, and radiologists.

Ensure adherence to clinical protocols, patient safety, and quality standards.
Leadership & Mentorship

Lead and guide a team of junior consultants, residents, fellows, and nursing staff in oncology care.

Provide mentorship, teaching, and training to medical students, residents, and allied healthcare professionals.
Research & Academics
-
Contribute to clinical research, publications, and academic teaching activities.

Initiate or participate in clinical trials and maintain ethical research practices.

Deliver CME (Continuing Medical Education) lectures and participate in national/international oncology conferences.
Administrative Responsibilities
-
Support the hospital administration in developing oncology programs, patient education initiatives, and awareness campaigns.

Contribute to strategic planning for expanding oncology services.

Ensure compliance with hospital policies, medical ethics, and statutory regulations.
