Key Responsibilities –

  1. Undertakes quality initiatives, audits, risk management as due in conjunction with the Quality Manager.
  2. Consults with administrative and medical staff Managers, department heads, and critical committees as appropriate to finalize.
  3. Effectively co-ordinates the assessment of current operational processes as directed by the Quality Manager.
  4. Assesses institutional/departmental readiness and identifies strategies to achieve goals as directed by the Quality Manager.
  5. Creates a supportive environment in the department that is sensitive to the issues and needs of that area by regularly consulting with the Quality Manager and front-line staff.
  6. Ensure legal and statutory compliance in conjunction with Quality Manager.
  7. Ensure all the documentations along with evidences are maintained as per NABH requirement
  8. Works to ensure that quality improvement and innovation work remains focused on one or more of the following goals: patient-centeredness, staff vitality, process efficiency and waste reduction, and safe and reliable patient care.
  9. Assures application of a tracking method to monitor progress towards goals by collecting accurate, timely data to display the quality, cost, and service outcomes.
  10. Effectively communicates improvements that are made to work teams, staff, managers, and administrators throughout the organisation.
  11. Maintains accountability for ongoing self development activities, especially related to presentation facilitation, change management and application of quality improvement activities.
  12. All other work assigned by management / HOD time to time.
