Senior Resident

Job Responsibilities:

• Examining and treating injuries and illnesses in children
• Administering vaccinations and providing advice on general health and wellness topics
• Diagnosing and treating children’s diseases, infections, and other health issues
• Monitoring the growth, development, and behaviour of children and adolescents
• Conducting thorough examinations on newborns to check and record their health and normal physical development
• Advising parents on children’s diet, exercise, and disease preventive measures
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to plan and coordinate treatment
• Keeping a detailed record of patients’ illnesses, surgeries, or other medical episodes (inpatient, outpatient, consultation)
• Referring children to appropriate specialists when necessary
• Providing support and advice to parents on handling the child’s physical, emotional, and mental development milestones
