Job Purpose:

To handle the entire billing operations.

Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Periodic tariff updation/implementation
  • Ensure correct billing to the patients as per approval tariff master for all services provided or material consumed
  • Ensure Timely and correct billing for TPA/Corporation/Scheme/Funds/PSV Patients as per agreed tariff
  • Ensure 100% Compliance with billing policy
  • Ensure timely submission of bills to TPA/Corporation/Scheme/Funs/PSU as per define TAT
  • Respond to the queries from TPA/Corporation/Scheme/Funs/PSU & liaison for recovery
  • Ensure providing correct estimate to patient & adhere to in final bill
  • Checking for bills for its 100% accuracy before being provided to stakeholders
  • Keep Track on discounts/ Cancellations refund & reporting to finance head
  • Keep Track on unbilling of services and minimize it
  • MIS Reporting & Liaison Audits.  

Candidate Requirements:

  • Verbal Ability/Communication Skill: Ability to comprehend verbal instructions given by the supervisor or head of the department.
  • To give accurate and tactful explanations to patients. Problem solving/ Decision-making
  • To think independently and exercise own judgment.
  • Able to work accurately and with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to comprehend written instructions given by the Doctors and the other related departmental personnel.
  • Ability to plan & organize ones work schedule effectively.
  • Speaking and listening are essential requirements to understand and carry out the instructions given by the supervisors and other related departmental personnel.
